Australian Rules Football, also known as footy or Aussie Rules, is a unique and fast-paced team sport originating in Australia. Players use both their hands and feet to pass, kick, and handball the ball. The objective is to score goals by kicking the ball between the goalposts which are placed at either end of an oval-shaped field.
Basketball is a dynamic team sport played with a round ball on a rectangular court. Players use their hands to dribble, pass, and shoot the ball into the opponent's basket, scoring points. It emphasizes athleticism, coordination, and teamwork.
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams. It involves batting, bowling, and fielding. The batting team tries to score runs by hitting the ball and running between two sets of wickets, while the fielding team aims to get the batsmen out by catching the ball or hitting the wickets.
Tennis is an individual or doubles sport played on a rectangular court. Players use rackets to hit a ball over a net and into the opponent's court, aiming to score points by making the ball unreturnable. Tennis requires skills like serving, rallying, and volleying.
Athletics, also known as track and field, develops speed, strength, agility, and endurance through disciplines such as sprinting, long-distance running, high jump, long jump, shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw. Students will also get a chance to attempt an Obstacles Course in this session, which is always a fan favourite!
